Public Procerument of Products and Services (PPNetwork)

European Commission aims to harmonize and facilitate the Public Procurement of accessible ICT products and services by identifying a set of functional European accessibility requirements in the ICT domain. Also provide a mechanism through which the public procurers have accessibility to an electronic toolkit, enabling them to use these harmonized requirements in procurement processes.
IN GREECE,  responsible Public Organizations (Ministries) are :                                     

1..For Public Works :  Ministry of Environment, Physical Planning and PUBLIC WORKS /
General Secreteriat of PUBLIC WORKS (GGDE)
Main mission of The General Secreteriat of Public Works is :
•  to curve out the National policy and develop the appropriate legal framework as well
as the implementation of the policy in the sector of public works.
•  to elaborate longterm and annual programmes of public works to be constructed
•  to set the national framework for the development of the technical, organizational and economic capabilities of the constructing companies that undertake the construction of public works.

2. For Services :

Ministry of Economy and Finance
•  provision of information to the contracting authorities in relation to the legislation on the public procurement services.
•  collecting and processing of the relevant statistical data forwarded to the European Commission.
• attendance of the European Committee Workshops related to public procurement, to exchange information about service contracts.

3..For Products:

 Ministry of Development 

 

European Standards Organizations :  CEN,  CENELEC,   ETSI
